Complete Accounting Information System for NYE
(Kabul, Afghanistan)
Nye National Distribution Network
(now known as Nye Express services) is a country
wide spread of project DHSA, at the time of restructuring
of the Nye, we were hired as Accounts consultants
to analyze the needs of the organization and propose
a complete accounting system. Once our proposal
was approved we then moved in to design and develop
the complete accounting system further more converted
that into computer based accounting system.
We also conducted several training workshops along
with the on job training for the accounts department
of Nye and DHSA interacting with Nye’s accountants.

Conversion from Manual to Computer based accounting
system
We were hired to analyze and convert
the currently manual accounting system running
at the CeReTeCh an ISP working in Kabul providing
wireless internet services.
We analyzed the system recommended some changes
in the Accounting system and Chart of Accounts
converted them to the Computer Based accounting
system.
After the implementation we provided them with
on job training for operating and report generation
form the new system.

Has developed complete interactive
site in Macromedia Flash. Providing students with
their email accounts.
Complete Database of students, i.e., students
records are also maintained on the website.

Web Based Schooling
System (PGS)
Developed the first n-tier web
based DBMS system in Peshawar for an educational
system, using the current n-tier technologies
such as XML, XSLT, and Java servlets.
It is one of the first projects giving complete
interactivity to students and parents to access
their resources on the net.
Used Enterprise based Component Technology, i.e.,
EJB to provide for easy manageability and maintainability.

Management System
Software somewhat similar to
the Web Based Schooling system, but with a different
prospect keeping track of the Students studying
in the Institute along with their relevant records
like Fee structure, transport or other facilities
availed with their relevant charges. Automated
Result card generation for students on the provision
of their Admission number. This software also
has a simple accounting system keeping with simple
modules like Payroll generation, General expense
Ledger, Lab Inventory Records etc.
This system is currently installed and functional
at Amina Degree College Peshawar.

Intranet Based Examination
System
The Complete intranet based examination System
has been developed; this system supports unlimited
concurrent users. This system was designed to
conduct the basic aptitude test and objective
type monthly tests; it has well defined reporting
system and is capable of generating real time
results.

Electronic
Point of Sale (EPOS) integrated with Cost Accounting
System
An EPOS with distinct features, this software
is integrated with a complete Accounting system
GL, Payroll, Fixed Asset register, Automated Sales
procedures etc. and Cost Accounting system. This
software is installed in 2 Branches of Mushtaq
General Stores, it is not only working on a network
but it has a Remote Dialup access feature added
on request, for the owners to get the required
reports form the computers and also to check on
the Audit trails forming the integral part of
the Software.

EPOS with BAR CODE Scanners to
record sales online, printers generating Sales
Receipt in 2 languages ENGLISH and URDU, a separate
module handling the purchases and Automated generation
of the periodic standard accounting Reports. This
software also includes a special feature of the
Stock Expiry alert.
Software in each branch is running on a network
on three computer two terminals handing the EPOS
with a third terminal handling the Cost Accounting
System for over 1200 items.
Other than the development of this Information
System our duties included the acquisition of
EPOS equipment and its installation, along with
the developing the network environment as a platform
for the installation for the MIS.

Accounting System for the Manufacturing Unit
An Accounting Information System for Aymen Packages
(Pvt) Ltd Hattar. We first proposed and designed
the Manual for Accounting and Cost Accounting
System then Developed a complete CBIS. This accounting
system is a complete Double Entry accounting system
handling the entire accounts from Vouchers to
Balance Sheet. Along with this Accounting system
a Cost Accounting System is also provided in this
MIS.

System for an NGO
We have developed a complete Accounting System
with Cost accounting system for an NGO, Karakoram
Handicraft Development Programme (KHDP) Hunza.
This NGO was previously using Peach Tree Accounting
System in their organisation, which was not fulfilling
the organisation’s accounting needs. We
were assigned to analyse the currently practiced
accounting system and propose an alternate. After
analysing the said organisation’s accounting
system we proposed a complete accounting system
with cost accounting system to fulfil the complex
requirements of the organization.
The accounting system is running on a network
in their different production Units keeping track
of overall Inventories and the Sales occurring
at each.

Developed a completely dynamic Website for Afghan
Management and Marketing Consultants, a consultancy
firm based in Kabul Afghanistan. This website

online view of the Project status with Gantt Charts

Currently
Running Projects:
We are currently working on over all restructuring
of The Killid Group Afghanistan (TKG) converting
decentralized infrastructures to Centralized because
of the unability and difficulties in the operations
of the projects. TKG is consists of some nine
subunit in its hierarchy.
We are also working on an IT project
of a Computer Archive of Saba Publication Center
(SPC) Kabul. A complete Archive of entire data
gathered by Saba Publication’s different
resources including radio, TV, Magazines gathered
by reporters and journalists etc. This would be
a server based accessible on both Intranet and
dialup network.
